Founder
Created by a teacher who believes every child can learn.
Angela Martinez is a teacher, mother of three, inventor, and the founder of Monty & Friends Literacy Club.
Why Monty
A small friend with a big spirit.
Monty is the family friend and mascot behind the club. His uplifting spirit inspired a name that reminds young learners they can do big things.
Angela’s work is rooted in a belief shaped by years in the classroom: when children have more chances to practice early literacy skills, they have more chances to build confidence.
